You can see all our jobs in our jobs list at www.barn-door.co.uk/jobs. Click on a job to go to the job page. Click the Apply for job button at the bottom of the page and fill in your details to apply for the job.
You can also find a job by submitting your details at www.barn-door.co.uk/submit-cv. Employers will be able to see you’re looking for work and will contact you if they have a job to offer.
Of course! Everyone has to start somewhere. Just be honest about your experience and be enthusiastic about why you want to enter the industry. Many farmers are happy employing people who are inexperienced but keen to learn and offer you the training you’ll need to do the job.
If you entered an email address when you applied you’ll get an email to confirm that your application has been sent. Your CV details and contact information are sent to the employer who will then contact you. It can take a few days for this to happen, especially for jobs which receive a lot of applications, so don’t worry if the employer doesn’t get in touch straight away.

Just fill in your details at www.barn-door.co.uk/submit-cv and BarnDoor will make you a CV which will be visible to employers in the CV list. Employers will be able to see that you’re looking for work and can contact you if they have a job to offer.

BarnDoor is a young and fast-growing job site. Because we’re focussed on agriculture, most of our users are either experienced agricultural workers or are keen to enter the industry. This means that job applications are generally highly relevant, from skilled and enthusiastic job seekers. Jobs receive over 10 applications on average. It’s easy to post a job and just takes a couple of minutes- just fill in the short form at www.barn-door.co.uk/post-a-job.
You can also look through our CV list at www.barn-door.co.uk/cvs to hand-pick the next member of your team. You can see experience, qualifications and availability. It costs £10 to contact a worker if you’re interested.
It’s quick and easy to post a job on BarnDoor, just fill in the short form at www.barn-door.co.uk/post-a-job. All jobs in agriculture and farming are welcome on BarnDoor.
If you have fewer than 5 active job listings then it is free to post a job. If you have five or more active job listings then the standard job listing price is £14.99. There is an additional cost of £19.99 or £39.99 to post “Boost” or “Premium” jobs where your job will be featured at the top of the job search results for 7 or 20 days respectively. For Boost jobs, your job will be featured and highlighted at the top of the jobs list for 7 days. This is the best option if you want to receive applications quickly, for example if you have a position to fill ASAP. Boost jobs cost £19.99 on top of the job listing price (free if you have fewer than five job listings, and £14.99 otherwise).
Premium jobs are featured and highlighted at the top of the jobs list for 20 days. This is the best value option for receiving most applications. Premium jobs cost £39.99 on top of the job listing price (free if you have fewer than five job listings, and £14.99 otherwise).
You can manage your jobs in your account at www.barn-door.co.uk/account. You can view, edit, delete, or mark them as filled.
Applications will be emailed to you at the email address you provided. They will contain CV details and the contact information of the applicant. You should contact the applicant to let them know you’ve received their application and to arrange an interview.
BarnDoor does not offer interviewing services as it aims to connect employers and job seekers directly. Once you’ve received an application it is your responsibility to contact the candidate to let them know if you’re interested and possibly arrange an interview.
